Tables and Diagrams

1. All Tables must give Table Numbers in captions in Capitals (font size 12 ), and should use point system to indicate chapters as well as Table number. Thus, for the first Table of chapter one, it should be 1.1, for the second chapter Table three, it should be 2.3 and so on.

2. Immediately at the end of the Table, complete source must be shown.

Note: It is not possible to provide the ratios prior to year 1950.

3. All figures and diagrams must be as simple as possible which can be easily reproduced. Please use Word 2000 for the diagrams/figures. Complicated figures/diagrams in Excel and so on should be avoided.

4. Tables should not have vertical lines.

5. Any tables or figures taken from published sources must have copyright clearance.

6. All illustrations should be supplied with captions and an appropriate mark in the typescript indicating clearly where it should appear.
