Edited Books

In the case of edited books, all the instructions mentioned earlier regarding the editorial style remain. However, a few new points need to be remembered.

1. In the content after preface will come the List of Contributors in italics. The names and affiliations of contributors should be typed out in the section on Contributors. The heading CONTRIBUTORS should be typed out in font size 26 and the names highlighted (Bold).

2. The titles of each chapter should be in bold capitals (font size 12 ) and the names of the authors should be in lower case letters in font size 11.

Presentation

1. Before finally presenting the MS to the editor, please prepare the camera ready copy (CRC) with the type formatting as discussed earlier.

2. Put the whole MS in single space with proper pagination. For all prelim pages, use Roman numbers (e.g., i, ii, iii, iv, v.) and from Introduction or Chapter 1, you should use English numerical (1, 2, 3, 4, 5,..).

3. After pagination is done, insert page numbers in the Contents against each item/subheading.

4. Select Bibliography/References should be placed at the end of manuscript followed by Index.

5. It is the responsibility of the author/authors to supply the Index and read the final proof of the book when ready.

6. Please send one camera ready copy of the manuscript neatly typed along with 3.5" diskette (preferably Word 2000) to the commissioning editor:
